Administrative and Sales Assistant

About the role

The Administrative and Sales Assistant will support managers with daily office tasks while also handling customer interactions and after‑sales service. This role bridges administration and sales within a construction environment, requiring a good understanding of equipment and strong organisational abilities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist managers with routine administrative duties and documentation.
• Welcome customers, arrange deliveries and respond to after‑sales service requests.
• Develop knowledge of construction equipment to answer technical enquiries.
• Conduct market research, customer surveys and data collection.
• Support stock‑taking and inventory management.
• Build and maintain customer relationships to generate sales.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Building Technology or a related field.
• At least 12 months of office experience.
• Strong customer service orientation and teamwork skills.
• Growth mindset with willingness to learn.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Basic technical knowledge of construction machinery (a plus).
