Communications Lead / Chargé(e) de communication

About the role

The Lycée Français International Jacques Prévert d'Accra is seeking a dynamic Communications Lead to shape and promote the school’s brand, voice, and community engagement across all channels. This bilingual role will support student recruitment, media relations, and internal communication in a multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the school’s communication strategy and ensure consistent messaging.
• Create high‑quality bilingual content for newsletters, press releases, social media, campaigns, and the yearbook.
• Manage the school website and all social media platforms.
• Act as spokesperson, coordinating media relations and press coverage.
• Support admissions through partnerships with diplomatic missions, relocation agencies, and educational partners.
• Facilitate clear communication with families, staff, and students.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in communications, marketing or client relations.
• Fluent in written and spoken French and English.

Required skills

• Graphic design proficiency with Canva and Adobe Suite.
• Video and photo content production experience.
• Social media management expertise.
• Experience with email marketing platforms and school communication tools.
