DTG / DTF Print Machine Technician Operator

About the role

Indigo Textiles is looking for a skilled DTG / DTF Print Machine Technician Operator to run and maintain its digital textile printing equipment. The role ensures high‑quality output, minimal downtime, and smooth workflow in a fast‑growing production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate DTG and DTF printing machines safely and efficiently according to production schedules.
• Prepare artwork files, perform print tests, and conduct colour calibrations to guarantee consistent results.
• Execute preventive maintenance daily, weekly and monthly, including cleaning print heads, ink systems, rollers and curing units.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, ink‑flow and software issues, and coordinate advanced repairs with suppliers when needed.
• Monitor ink usage, consumables and material waste, maintaining accurate maintenance logs and inventory records.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental standards while handling inks and chemicals.

Required profile

• Diploma, technical certification or equivalent experience in Printing Technology, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Textile Technology.
• 2–5 years of hands‑on experience operating DTG and/or DTF printing machines.
• Familiarity with garment printing workflows and RIP software.
• Strong knowledge of colour management and textile printing processes.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve machine‑related issues and perform routine maintenance.
