Facilities Manager

About the role

The Facilities Manager will oversee all building‑related activities for our client’s offices in Accra and the surrounding region. You will ensure that the infrastructure remains safe, functional, and compliant with all relevant regulations while supporting efficient day‑to‑day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the condition of all facilities, ensuring safety, security, and energy‑efficiency standards are met.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise installations, refurbishments, and routine maintenance projects.
• Monitor utilities consumption, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and manage budgets.
• Allocate office space according to departmental needs and growth.
• Schedule inspections, emergency repairs, and manage relationships with external vendors.
• Prepare regular reports on maintenance activities, safety incidents, and performance metrics for senior management.

Required profile

• First‑degree university qualification.
• 2‑3 years of experience in facilities management or a related field.
• Strong understanding of government regulations, health and safety standards, and energy‑efficiency requirements.
• Proven ability to manage supplier and customer relationships.
• High integrity, honesty, and excellent communication skills.
