MEP Manager – High‑Rise Construction (Accra, Ghana)

About the role

The company seeks an experienced MEP Manager to lead mechanical, electrical and plumbing works on commercial, residential and high‑rise projects in Accra. You will be responsible for design coordination, procurement, installation supervision, testing, commissioning and delivery of projects safely, on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Manage MEP activities across all active projects and supervise subcontractors.
• Review and coordinate MEP designs (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire safety) and ensure feasibility, compliance and value.
• Align MEP schedules with the overall construction programme and integrate systems using BIM.
• Prepare material and equipment lists, support procurement, and verify specifications before installation.
• Oversee site installations, enforce quality standards, and resolve delays.
• Plan and execute testing, commissioning and handover, producing operation manuals and as‑built drawings.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and building codes and obtain statutory approvals.
• Lead, develop and report on the performance of the MEP team.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services engineering.
• Significant MEP experience, including high‑rise projects (above 14 stories).
• Proven leadership in building and managing an MEP team.
• Hands‑on experience in MMP installation and design, not just consultancy.
