Offloading & Issuing Manager

About the role

The Offloading & Issuing Manager will lead end‑to‑end receiving and dispatch operations for a diverse hardware portfolio, ensuring efficient use of resources and high service levels. This role requires dynamic strategy adjustment to meet fluctuating business demands and a strong focus on KPI‑driven performance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee receiving and dispatch processes for heavy, light hardware and general merchandise, adapting strategies for peak and off‑peak periods.
• Allocate manpower, forklifts and cranes, and optimise truck loading/unloading sequences based on urgency and waiting times.
• Monitor and improve KPIs such as truck waiting time, loading efficiency (trucks/hour, items/hour) and 4‑hour in‑warehouse completion rate, targeting ≥95% performance.
• Lead resolution of major exceptions including delays, mis‑shipments, shortages and damages, maintaining logs and corrective actions.
• Ensure accurate use of Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Transportation Management System (TMS), aligning system data with real‑world operations.
• Collaborate with transportation, sales and customer service teams to obtain shipment plans and support priority orders.
• Manage supervisors and frontline staff, conduct safety and system training, and drive performance evaluations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Logistics or Supply Chain.
• Minimum 3 years of warehouse operations management experience in top‑tier companies.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse processes and on‑site coordination.
• Data‑driven mindset with proven KPI management experience.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities, able to work under high pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Transportation Management System (TMS).
• Ability to analyse operational data and manage key performance indicators.
