Plumber – Embassy Project (Ghana)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Plumber to join our Embassy Project team in Ghana. The role involves completing outstanding plumbing installations, correcting non‑compliant work, and ensuring all systems meet project specifications and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install first‑fix plumbing systems according to contract drawings, approved submittals, specifications and applicable codes.
• Fit and assemble copper, CPVC, PVC and PPR pipework using approved joining methods.
• Cut, thread, bend, support and secure pipework, ensuring correct alignment, gradients and brackets.
• Install sleeves, fire‑stopping systems and penetration seals as per approved details.
• Fit sanitary fixtures such as washbasins, WCs, urinals, taps, mixers, traps, floor drains, cleanouts, isolation valves, back‑flow preventers, water heaters and pumps.
• Perform pressure testing, flushing, chlorination and water sampling, recording all results.
• Maintain accurate as‑built mark‑ups, testing records and inspection documentation.
• Report defects, rectify non‑conformances and ensure concealed works are inspected before closure.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial or institutional plumbing installations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and local plumbing codes.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards.
• Capability to work collaboratively with supervisors and other trades.
