Tricycle Operator

About the role

The Tricycle Operator will join Honeyguide’s logistics team in Adenta, Ghana, to transport agricultural goods and supplies safely and efficiently. This full‑time, on‑site position supports the company’s mission to connect small farmers with high‑value markets by ensuring timely deliveries across designated routes.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a tricycle to transport produce and supplies between farms, buyers and distribution points.
• Ensure deliveries are completed on schedule and that goods are handled properly.
• Perform routine checks, minor repairs and regular maintenance to keep the tricycle in optimal condition.
• Communicate with farmers, buyers and internal team members to coordinate pick‑ups and drop‑offs.
• Follow all safety procedures and comply with local traffic regulations.

Required profile

• Proficiency in safe tricycle operation and good knowledge of local routes.
• Ability to carry out basic vehicle maintenance and minor repairs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with farmers and buyers.
• Effective time‑management and organizational abilities to meet delivery deadlines.
• Commitment to safety standards and traffic law compliance.
• Previous experience in delivery, logistics or transportation is an advantage.
• Valid driver’s license and any certifications required for operating a tricycle.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Adenta and adapt to field conditions.
