Auto Service Engineer – Auto‑Electrical (EV)

About the role

Zerosol Africa is seeking a full‑time Auto Service Engineer (auto‑electrical) to join its on‑site team in Accra. You will provide technical support, maintenance and repair for electric and hybrid vehicle power‑train systems, working directly with customers and field teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site technical support, troubleshooting and repair of electrical and electronic vehicle components.
• Perform maintenance, part replacement, programming and calibration of high‑voltage (HV) systems such as battery packs, inverters and DC‑DC converters.
• Use diagnostic tools (OBD‑II/III scanners, OEM software) to diagnose ECU, BCM and other control‑module issues.
• Ensure compliance with automotive electrical safety standards while handling high‑voltage components.
• Provide field service reports and maintain accurate service records.

Required profile

• HND or higher in Automobile/Electrical Engineering (auto‑electrical option) or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in vehicle software troubleshooting, OBD‑II/III diagnostics, and ECU/BCM systems.
• Hands‑on experience with HV system maintenance, part replacement, programming and calibration.
• Previous field service or technical support experience with strong customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and resolve complex technical problems.
