Business Developer – Building & Infrastructure (BNI)

About the role

The Business Developer for Building & Infrastructure (BNI) will drive country‑wide growth of CAPEX and OPEX services. Reporting to the BNI Manager, the role requires independent action, confidentiality and strict adherence to BV ethics, safety and financial controls.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the privileged interface between customers and the BNI department.
• Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities and partnerships.
• Organise and participate in professional networking and promotional activities.
• Sell and optimise BNI services, prepare quotations and negotiate rates.
• Develop customer loyalty and provide regular sales performance reports to management.
• Track and report business development activities, leads, conversions and revenue.
• Coordinate preparation and submission of competitive tenders, bids and proposals in line with specifications and timelines.
• Maintain the tender pipeline, monitoring bid status, outcomes and future opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales Management, Business Administration or related field (master’s degree advantageous).
• Minimum 3 years of proven business development and market networking experience, preferably in building and infrastructure services.
• Experience in a multinational group is a plus.
• Fluent written and spoken English and French.
• Willingness to work in Ghana with regional mobility.

• Proficiency with business development software, specifically Salesforce CRM.
• Good knowledge of HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, Environment) standards.
