Coordinator, Enterprise Bid and Contract Support

About the role

The Coordinator, Enterprise Bid and Contract Support ensures that all bids submitted to MTN Business are technically compliant, commercially sound, and delivered on time, while also managing the full lifecycle of customer and vendor contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, log and qualify incoming RFPs, RFQs, RFIs and unsolicited proposals, maintaining a single source of truth for the bid pipeline.
• Develop bid plans and coordinate virtual bid teams across Sales, Solutions Engineering, Legal, Finance, Commercial, Procurement and Technical functions.
• Consolidate technical, commercial and legal inputs into a compliant response document and ensure all customer questions are addressed.
• Perform quality assurance on bid responses, including proofreading, version control, formatting consistency and pricing accuracy.
• Validate mandatory submission requirements such as company registration, tax clearance, SSNIT certification, audited financials, NCA licences and references.
• Track contract status using the contract management platform, generate alerts for expiries and drive renewal or termination decisions.
• Coordinate renewal negotiations, capturing pricing reviews, SLA adjustments and scope changes.
• Manage controlled contract terminations, including notice service, exit‑clause execution and final billing reconciliation.
• Build and maintain a bid library with reusable content modules.

Required profile

• Proven ability to coordinate end‑to‑end responses to RFPs, RFQs, RFIs and unsolicited proposals.
• Experience managing the full contract lifecycle from drafting to renewal or termination.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure compliance with mandatory submission requirements.
• Effective cross‑functional collaboration with sales, engineering, legal, finance and procurement teams.
