About the role
The University of Education Winneba (UEW) is recruiting qualified professionals for two full‑time positions within its College of Technology Education, Kumasi: a Curator responsible for horticultural management and a Senior Health Superintendent overseeing public‑health services.
Key responsibilities
- Care for and maintain university gardens and grounds.
- Organise training programmes for grounds staff.
- Supervise horticulture and grounds personnel.
- Provide general supervision of public‑health staff and sanitary labourers.
- Prepare annual budgets, reports and manage health store inventories.
- Plan and coordinate environmental sanitation and control communicable diseases across the university.
Required profile
- Master's degree in Horticulture or related field with at least two years post‑qualification experience (Curator).
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health or a Diploma in Hygiene/Public Health with four years relevant experience (Senior Health Superintendent).
- Ability to work independently and supervise staff.
- Computer literacy is mandatory for all candidates.
