Director of Finance

About the role

The Director of Finance leads the Finance Directorate of the University of Energy and Natural Resources, reporting directly to the Vice‑Chancellor. This senior position oversees all aspects of the university’s financial administration and ensures sound fiscal management.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for the financial administration of the University under the Vice‑Chancellor.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification and a relevant postgraduate degree.
• Membership of a recognised accounting body such as ICA, ACCA, CIMA or Certified Accountant.
• Minimum five years’ experience as Principal Accountant or Deputy Director of Finance in a university, or at least fifteen years post‑qualification experience in a university or comparable institution by 31 July 2023.
