Drill Mechanic – Full‑time Position

About the role

Mantrac Ghana Limited is seeking qualified Drill Mechanics to join its team in Accra. The role involves maintaining, servicing and troubleshooting earth‑moving and drilling equipment for the company's operations. The successful candidate will play a critical part in ensuring equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum of MVT/MET Part 1 certification.
• At least 3 hands‑on post‑qualification years working with earth‑moving heavy equipment or drill rigs.
• Possession of a Ghanaian driver’s licence (category BE).
• Willingness to work long hours and weekends.
• Ability to work in noisy and dirty environments.
• Capable of operating with little or no supervision.
• Excellent reading and writing skills.

Required skills

• Ability to read, understand and interpret technical literature.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Good understanding and usage of CAT SIS and Electronic Technician (ET) systems.
• Experience in Caterpillar field service (advantageous).
