About the role
As part of the Coastal Sustainable Landscapes Project, the specialist will generate, store, analyse and share biophysical data to support natural‑resource management, carbon stock reporting and spatial planning across the Western Region of Ghana.
Key responsibilities
- Collect and analyse data on forest, wetland, land‑use and socio‑economic indicators.
- Produce and share information on carbon stocks, support REDD+ readiness and develop sub‑national MRV systems.
- Assist in strategic spatial planning and promote coastal landscape conservation among stakeholders.
Required profile
- Advanced degree in a related field (e.g., environmental science, geography, land‑use planning).
- Proven project management experience in an international organisation.
- Familiarity with USAID rules, climate change, sustainable landscapes and biodiversity conservation.
Required skills
- Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Internet research and basic data management.
