Fleet Officer - Telematics

About the role

MAX is seeking a reliable Fleet Officer – Telematics to oversee vehicle maintenance, tracking, and documentation across its Accra and Tema operations. You will play a key part in ensuring fleet visibility, supporting various internal teams, and improving operational efficiency through data analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and manage GPS trackers on all company vehicles.
• Monitor vehicle locations in real time and ensure they remain within designated zones.
• Provide immediate reporting of abnormal situations or theft incidents to management.
• Support Collections, Recovery, and Welfare teams with accurate vehicle data.
• Analyze telematics data to identify opportunities for operational improvements.
• Create and maintain job cards for preventive maintenance at any MAX location.
• Administer vehicle exit authorizations and champion satisfaction surveys.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
• Good understanding of inventory control principles.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
• Degree in Engineering, Sciences, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum two years of relevant experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace.
