Health & Safety Supervisor

About the role

The company is seeking a competent Health & Safety Supervisor to lead safety operations across its manufacturing facility. The role involves implementing policies, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with Ghanaian labour and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor health and safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions.
• Deliver safety training and induction programs for staff.
• Ensure compliance with the Ghana Labour Act and relevant safety regulations.
• Maintain safety records and documentation.
• Support emergency response planning and drills.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies during inspections.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in safety management, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Ghana safety regulations and international standards.
• Certification in NEBOSH or IOSH is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and report‑writing skills.
