Junior Accountant – Entry Level Finance Role

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. In this entry‑level position you will support daily accounting operations, ensure accurate record‑keeping, and assist with financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Record and process daily financial transactions promptly.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice preparation and payment processing.
• Perform bank, credit‑card and account reconciliations.
• Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Prepare basic financial reports, account summaries and spreadsheets.
• Research and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
• Assist with journal entries, general ledger maintenance and audit preparation.

Required profile

• Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related finance role.
• Degree, diploma or coursework in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations and general ledger processes.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Experience using accounting software, ERP systems or financial management platforms.
