Junior Electrical & Mechanical Engineer (Onsite)

About the role

We are seeking motivated Junior Electrical and Mechanical Engineers to join our client’s project team in Accra. The role is full‑time, on‑site and offers the chance to work on engineering projects from concept through to completion, supporting both electrical and mechanical disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the design, analysis and documentation of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Prepare and review technical drawings using CAD software.
• Perform calculations, testing and iterative improvements of components.
• Support installation, commissioning and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, project managers and cross‑functional teams to meet specifications, safety standards and timelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Strong foundation in both mechanical and electrical engineering principles.
• Basic knowledge of machine design and research & development processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and standards.
• Good analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.

Required skills

• Computer‑Aided Design (CAD) tools – AutoCAD, SolidWorks.
• Machine design and basic R&D testing.
• Fundamental project planning and time‑management abilities.
