Junior Software Engineer (Level 2)

About the role

Zof AI is seeking a Junior Software Engineer (Level 2) to join its Accra office and help build AI‑driven products. The position offers hands‑on experience across the full stack, deep use of AI development tools, and close mentorship from senior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Build product features under guidance from senior engineers.
• Leverage AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, Codex) to accelerate learning and execution.
• Contribute to frontend, backend, testing, and internal tooling.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Document work clearly and take ownership of assigned tasks.

Required profile

• Strong programming fundamentals with evidence of projects, internships, open‑source contributions, or self‑directed learning.
• High learning velocity and strong curiosity about AI and software products.
• Clear communication, discipline, and reliability.
• Ability to thrive in a high‑performance, fast‑feedback environment.
