Management Accountant

About the role

Precision HR Partners is seeking a highly analytical and commercially‑driven Management Accountant to join its Finance team. You will work closely with Operations, Processing, Logistics, Sales and Finance colleagues, turning financial and operational data into actionable insights that improve cost efficiency and profitability in our aquaculture business.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts.
• Monitor performance against budgets, forecasts and production targets.
• Analyse key aquaculture KPIs such as feed costs, mortality, biomass yield, harvest output and processing yields.
• Track and analyse cost of production per kilogram of produce.
• Identify cost‑saving and efficiency improvement opportunities.
• Develop financial dashboards and meaningful management reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Reconcile inventory and production inputs with financial records.
• Assist with investment appraisals and capital expenditure decisions.
• Provide financial insights to operational managers and senior leadership.
• Support statutory, tax, audit and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to stronger financial controls and overall business performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification or part‑qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, ICA or CPA (preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in management accounting or financial analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems, preferably SAP.
