Mechanical Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to lead the design, installation and maintenance of industrial racking systems across Ghana and the wider West African region. The role combines field surveys, technical drawing preparation and hands‑on supervision to ensure safe and efficient warehouse solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pre‑project site surveys, measurements and technical assessments.
• Prepare and revise racking system layouts, installation drawings and documentation using AutoCAD.
• Manage and supervise the installation and assembly of industrial racking systems on site.
• Coordinate with site teams to resolve technical issues and optimise project timelines.
• Develop and implement preventive and periodic maintenance plans.
• Provide technical support, consultancy and reporting services at customer locations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience (mid‑level).
• Valid driver’s licence with active driving experience.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) and proficient in French.
• Willingness to travel and be stationed across West Africa as required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating and interpreting technical drawings.
