National Service Technical Support Engineer

About the role

LOOP DFS Ghana Ltd, a Bank of Ghana‑licensed fintech, is looking for a National Service Technical Support Engineer. You will join the Technology team to help maintain, optimise, and ensure the reliability of our digital platforms and internal systems while gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑moving fintech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑ and second‑line technical support for internal users and operational systems, logging and tracking issues to resolution.
• Assist in testing, deploying, and monitoring software updates and new product features.
• Support API integration testing with mobile money operators, banks, and credit bureaux.
• Document technical processes, system configurations, bug reports, and resolutions in the knowledge base.
• Help the development team with code reviews, unit tests, and quality‑assurance activities.
• Monitor platform uptime dashboards and alert teams to performance anomalies.
• Perform basic data extraction, transformation, and reporting using SQL and internal BI tools.
• Participate in sprint planning, stand‑ups, and retrospectives, offering a support perspective.
• Assist with cybersecurity hygiene tasks such as access reviews, patch tracking, and incident log analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• Eligible for Ghana National Service in the 2026/2027 service year.
• Working knowledge of at least one programming language (Python, JavaScript, Java, or PHP).
• Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL queries.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON/XML data formats.
• Understanding of the software development life‑cycle and version control (Git).
