About the role
The Housekeeper position is a part‑time, on‑site role based in Accra, supporting families in the Accra and Tema region. You will help maintain clean, organized, and comfortable homes while respecting family privacy and guidelines.
Key responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning of living areas, kitchens, bathrooms, and bedrooms, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and washing dishes.
- Handle laundry, ironing, changing linens, and light meal preparation as needed.
- Manage household supplies, restock items, and report any issues to the family or coordinator.
- Provide basic support for childcare or elderly care, such as tidying play areas and ensuring a safe environment.
Required profile
- Strong housekeeping skills with experience in cleaning, laundry, and organization.
- Effective communication and customer‑service abilities.
- Reliability, punctuality, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
- Physical capability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Respectful attitude toward children, older adults, and diverse family cultures.
