About the role
Brainy Bairn School, an ultramodern international school in West Legon, Accra, is looking for a dedicated Librarian for its Primary Department. The role involves supporting the curriculum and fostering a love of reading among primary students.
Key responsibilities
- Effective teaching, class work and class control.
- Exhibit love, empathy and interest for the children under your care.
- Respect all school authority, colleagues and parents/guardians.
- Maintain a satisfactory attitude to work.
- Regular and punctual attendance.
Required profile
- University degree and/or post‑graduate teaching qualification.
- At least three years teaching experience in British or international systems.
- Computer literate or holder of an ICT qualification.
- Up‑to‑date knowledge of the British curriculum.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Professional qualification in library studies.
- Managed a school library for a minimum of two years.
