Quality Specialist – Subsea Projects & Services

About the role

Join Baker Hughes' cutting‑edge Quality team supporting subsea and flexible pipe projects. You will lead the Quality Control function, set inspection priorities and supervise inspectors to ensure product compliance and operational continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with Site OTR and Shop Operations to define inspection priorities and forecast resource needs.
• Supervise and oversee QC inspection activities, ensuring products meet Baker Hughes specifications, drawings and standards.
• Inspect new, supplier‑provided, repaired and intra‑company parts, both on‑site and at off‑site locations.
• Maintain accurate inspection records, manage metrology equipment calibration, and handle non‑conforming product through the NCM process.
• Lead root‑cause and non‑conformance analyses, drive continuous‑improvement initiatives and support MRB documentation.
• Ensure compliance with HSE and Quality Management System requirements at all times.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Management systems within the Oil & Gas sector.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and preferably API Q2 standards.
• NDT Level II certification and an engineering background (mechanical or electrical).
• Lean Six Sigma certification and supervisory experience with a flexible attitude to travel.
