Quantity Surveyor

About the role

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to support our firm in managing all costs related to construction projects, from initial calculations through to final accounts. The role ensures projects stay within budget, maximise value for money and deliver high‑quality results while complying with contractual obligations and company procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review cost estimates, budgets and tender documentation.
• Monitor project expenditures, variations and progress payments.
• Produce interim and final accounts, ensuring accurate cost reporting.
• Collaborate with the Resident Engineer and site teams to resolve cost‑related issues.
• Undertake site supervision tasks as directed, ensuring compliance with design and safety standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• 3–6 years of hands‑on experience in quantity surveying or site supervision within a contractor or consultancy environment.
• Active pursuit of professional accreditation is a plus.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with cost‑management software such as CostX or Candy.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD is highly desirable.
• Good understanding of construction materials, methods and measurement techniques.
