Radiographer – On Call (Accra)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) seeks an on‑call Radiographer to support its Health Assessment Programme for refugees and migrants in Accra and the Tema region. Working under the Chief Migration Health Officer and guided by the IOM Teleradiology Center, you will capture high‑quality chest X‑ray images that meet international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform chest X‑ray examinations for migrants as requested by physicians or radiologists.
• Capture additional standard views when required, following established protocols.
• Explain examination procedures to applicants and answer their questions.
• Prepare examination rooms and equipment, ensure proper ID verification and accurate biodata entry into CR/DR systems.
• Label images correctly and maintain compliance with IOM and resettlement‑country technical instructions.

Required profile

• Entry‑level qualification in radiography or related field.
• Minimum of one month relevant experience.
• Ability to work on short‑term contracts (up to 9 months).
