Regional Integration Graduate Intern

About the role

The African Center for Economic Transformation (ACET) is seeking a Graduate Intern for its Regional Integration (RI) Programme. The intern will support research on regional value chain development, assist with cross‑country coordination, and help engage stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyse data, contribute to research reports, and synthesize findings.
• Coordinate project activities across countries and liaise with partners during validation and dissemination.
• Draft thought pieces, policy briefs and blog posts to communicate integration narratives.
• Assist business development by researching background information for technical proposals.
• Provide administrative support to the programme as needed.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate degree in Economics or a related Social Science field.
• Relevant volunteer or internship experience in economic research, international development or similar areas is a plus.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English and a good working knowledge of French.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team.
