Relationship Manager – Asset Management

About the role

The Relationship Manager, Asset Management will be responsible for developing and expanding the bank’s portfolio of institutional investors. Reporting to the Head of Financial Institutions, the role focuses on mobilising deposits, delivering treasury and transaction banking solutions, and generating sustainable fee and interest income.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, acquire and nurture relationships with asset management firms, pension funds, mutual funds, insurance companies and other institutional investors.
• Develop and execute relationship plans to grow deposits, investment balances and overall client profitability.
• Promote the bank’s treasury, cash‑management, foreign‑exchange, custody and related products to maximise wallet share.
• Provide market intelligence and advisory services on interest rates, treasury products and investment opportunities.
• Prepare credit proposals, monitor client activity and ensure compliance with KYC, AML/CFT and internal policies.
• Coordinate with treasury, product and operations teams to ensure efficient service delivery and timely issue resolution.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with at least 96 months (8 years) of experience in relationship management with institutional investors.
• Proven track record in deposit mobilisation, fee generation and cross‑selling financial products.
• Strong understanding of treasury, transaction banking and regulatory compliance requirements.

Required skills

• Knowledge of treasury products, fixed deposits, cash‑management solutions, foreign‑exchange and custody services.
• Ability to prepare credit proposals and conduct business risk assessments.
• Familiarity with KYC, AML/CFT and internal policy frameworks.
