Senior Lead - HR Shared Services

About the role

The Senior Lead – HR Shared Services will drive the delivery of accurate, compliant, and efficient HR operational services across the employee lifecycle. Reporting to People leadership, this role ensures seamless coordination between HR, payroll, finance, legal and technology teams while maintaining high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day HR Shared Services operations, allocating workload, prioritising tasks and ensuring timely execution.
• Establish and monitor service routines, SLAs, KPIs, turnaround times, quality metrics and backlog management.
• Manage escalations, resolve operational bottlenecks and communicate case status to stakeholders.
• Partner with People Partners, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Finance, Legal and HRIS teams to align timelines, approvals and documentation standards.
• Translate policy or business changes into operational processes, templates, communications and training materials.
• Ensure employee records are complete, accurate and compliant; conduct regular audits and maintain data confidentiality.
• Lead onboarding administration, induction scheduling, system access setup and probation tracking.
• Oversee contract issuance, renewals, amendments and extensions within defined timelines.

Required profile

• Significant experience leading HR shared services or operations functions.
• Strong governance, stakeholder‑management and risk‑control capabilities.
• Proven track record of driving process improvement and operational excellence.
• Deep knowledge of HR compliance, data governance and employee‑lifecycle administration.
• Analytical mindset with ability to monitor KPIs and produce actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills across multiple business functions.
