Trailer Mechanic

About the role

Sunda International is looking for a skilled Trailer Mechanic to keep our fleet of trailers operating safely and efficiently. You will be responsible for diagnosing faults, performing routine maintenance, and executing repairs on a variety of trailer systems.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults on trailers.
• Carry out routine maintenance on brakes, suspension, axles, tires, and lighting systems.
• Replace damaged components and ensure all repairs meet safety standards.
• Conduct safety checks and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns and emergency repair requests.

Required profile

• Certificate, diploma or vocational training in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience maintaining trailers or heavy‑duty vehicles.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
