About the role
We are looking for a skilled Welder to join our team at GHS Housing Limited in Accra. The role involves fabricating and assembling metal components for housing projects, ensuring all work meets engineering specifications and quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Interpret engineering drawings and lay out parts using measuring tools such as straight edges, combination squares, calipers and rulers.
- Secure components and perform tack‑welding or full welding using electric, gas or arc welding equipment.
- Cut work pieces with powered saws, hand shears or chipping knives to required dimensions.
- Conduct and document weld inspections, including hydrostatic tests, X‑ray examinations and dimensional tolerance checks.
Required profile
- Formal qualification in Welding and Metal Fabrication Technology.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
