Accountant (Financial Reporting & Book-keeping)

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Accountant to join our finance team, focusing on financial reporting and bookkeeping for our hospitality operations. The successful candidate will manage month‑end processes, prepare management accounts and support statutory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and perform day‑to‑day bookkeeping.
• Manage month‑end close, reconciliations and preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Prepare financial reports for internal stakeholders and external auditors.
• Liaise with external auditors and assist during audit engagements.
• Support VAT, PAYE, corporate tax and other statutory filings.
• Improve financial processes, controls and ensure timely payment of bills and taxes.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and month‑end procedures.
• Qualified or progressing ACCA, CIMA or ICAG is an advantage.
• Excellent Excel and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
• Immediate availability and a valid driver’s licence.
