About the role
The Accountant will manage and report on financial data for a retail, fashion and FMCG business operating in Accra and the surrounding region. You will ensure accurate records, support decision‑making and comply with relevant legislation.
Key responsibilities
- Compile, analyse and report financial data, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
- Create periodic financial reports for managers, investors and other stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate financial records and perform audits to resolve discrepancies.
- Compute taxes and stay informed about current finance and accounting legislation.
- Assist management by preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience (senior level).
- Additional education, certifications or licences may be required.
- Strong ethical standards and attention to detail.
