Accountant

About the role

Ryno Delivery is a fast‑growing food and goods delivery platform in Ghana. The accountant will own day‑to‑day accounting, ensuring accurate records and timely financial reporting as the business scales.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records, prepare trial balances, and ensure proper classification and reconciliation of accounts.
• Prepare and analyse profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements; support month‑end and year‑end close.
• Perform regular bank, supplier, customer, inventory and other reconciliations, resolving discrepancies.
• Monitor accounts receivable and payable, and produce financial reports and analysis for management.
• Ensure compliance with Ghanaian tax and statutory requirements (GRA, SSNIT, etc.) and assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; ICAG or ACCA qualified or part‑qualified.
• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in high‑volume retail, logistics, e‑commerce or FMCG environments.
• Strong understanding of Ghanaian tax and statutory compliance.
• Detail‑oriented with ability to meet tight monthly deadlines.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with an ERP system.
• Advanced Excel skills.
