Analyst Commercial Performance & Business Intelligence (Data Mining)

About the role

MTN Ghana is seeking an Analyst to drive commercial performance and business intelligence through data mining. You will work within the Marketing Department’s Commercial Planning & Pricing team to turn raw data into actionable insights that support strategic decisions across the telecom business.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain data models that answer critical business questions.
• Extract, transform and load (ETL) customer data from the enterprise data warehouse for analysis.
• Automate data‑handling processes and create tools to streamline EDW data management.
• Perform geographic data mining to uncover patterns in customer behaviour and usage.
• Implement business measurement rules at the database level and conduct in‑depth analyses aligned with the annual analytics plan.
• Develop internal BI models, manage third‑party BI solutions, and respond to ad‑hoc data requests.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidate with up to 1 month of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work with large data sets.
• Excellent communication skills to present insights to business stakeholders.
