Aquaculture Lecturer or Senior Lecturer (Academic Position)

About the role

The Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences at the University of Cape Coast is inviting applications for full‑time academic positions specializing in Aquaculture, a critical sector for Ghana’s coastal economy and sustainable food production. Applicants may be considered for either a Lecturer role, which requires a PhD in Aquaculture, a minimum of two years of relevant professional or research experience, and at least two peer‑reviewed journal publications, or a Senior Lecturer role, which demands a minimum of five years of experience in the field and a record of at least five peer‑reviewed publications, demonstrating a strong commitment to scholarly activity. Both positions are based in Cape Coast, Ghana, and successful candidates will be expected to deliver undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, supervise student research, and actively contribute to the department’s research agenda and community outreach initiatives in Aquaculture.

Required profile

• Lecturer: PhD in Aquaculture, minimum two years of relevant experience, and at least two peer‑reviewed journal publications.
