Architectural Draughtsperson

About the role

ISOPTERRA, a Hamburg‑based architecture and construction studio, is expanding its design presence in Ghana. We are looking for an Architectural Draughtsperson to turn design concepts into clear, buildable drawings for projects across Accra, Tema and the Ghanaian coast. The role is initially freelance with the possibility of a permanent position as our Ghana office grows.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare concept and preliminary layout drawings that reflect ISOPTERRA’s design language.
• Develop detailed construction drawings for tender and execution, including plans, sections, elevations and details.
• Produce and update 2D and 3D models using SketchUp, ArchiCAD or Revit throughout the design and construction phases.
• Coordinate revisions with the Hamburg design team and incorporate feedback from local contractors and site supervisors.
• Support quantity take‑offs and assemble drawing packages for bills of quantities when required.
• Maintain organized, well‑labelled drawing sets and revision records.

Required profile

• Formal qualification or training in architecture, architectural technology or building drawing.
• Strong eye for design and ability to create non‑standard, innovative layouts.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Own laptop capable of running SketchUp, ArchiCAD or Revit smoothly.
• Willingness to work remotely and collaborate with teams in Hamburg and on‑site in Ghana.
