Asset Management & Procurement Expert

About the role

Provide capacity support to twelve metropolitan and municipal assemblies across northern Ghana, helping improve public financial management through asset management and procurement expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement asset registers and conduct asset valuations for municipal assemblies.
• Manage complex, large‑scale procurement processes and advise on best practices.
• Deliver capacity‑building activities using an iterative, advisory‑based approach.
• Collaborate with local teams to strengthen performance in five core public financial management areas.
• Travel extensively within Ghana to support assemblies on site.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• 5–10 years of experience in asset management, including work at the municipal assembly level.
• Demonstrated experience in capacity building and training delivery.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Self‑motivated, technically qualified and strong interpersonal skills.
