Assistant Food & Beverage Manager

About the role

The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager supports the overall management of all food and beverage operations at the property, including culinary, restaurant, beverage and room service areas. Reporting to senior management, the role ensures guest satisfaction, employee engagement and financial performance are achieved.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and managing budgets, cost controls and financial plans for the Food & Beverage department.
• Supervise day‑to‑day operations across kitchen, restaurant, bar and room service, stepping in to perform duties when needed.
• Lead, coach and evaluate staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment.
• Monitor guest feedback and promptly address concerns to maintain high service standards.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant food and beverage laws, regulations and brand standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of relevant experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or a related field with at least 2 years of experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, control costs and meet financial targets.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on employee development and guest satisfaction.
