Assistant Human Resource Manager

About the role

The Assistant Human Resource Manager will support the HR function across the organization, acting as a bridge between departments and senior leadership. This role focuses on improving HR policies, overseeing recruitment processes, and ensuring compliance with labour regulations within a dynamic banking, finance and insurance environment.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate effective liaison and support between all departments and the HR team.
• Identify gaps in current HR policies and processes, recommend improvements, and implement changes.
• Conduct interviews, including exit interviews, and provide feedback to managers.
• Design and deliver internal training programs as needed.
• Liaise with external agencies on HR matters.
• Assist in managing the performance of the HR team and delegating tasks.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluation, coaching, and staff development.
• Prepare monthly HR reports and develop action plans to meet targets.
• Contribute to the development of the organization’s HR strategy and overall business planning.
• Maintain accurate HR records, control expenses, and ensure compliance with all policies.

Required profile

• First degree in Human Resources, Social Science or a related field, with professional certification.
• Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant HR experience.
• Strong knowledge of the Labour Act and related regulations.
• Proven ability to work in a senior‑level HR capacity.
