Assurance Graduate Trainee

About the role

Join EY as an Assurance Graduate Trainee and work on audit engagements across a variety of industry sectors, including financial services, energy, oil & gas, mining, telecommunications, and more. You will be part of a high‑performing team that helps clients deliver reliable financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyse client data and documentation.
• Perform substantive testing and maintain detailed working papers.
• Assist in understanding significant transaction classes and audit risks.
• Collaborate with senior auditors to ensure quality and accuracy of audit work.

Required profile

• First‑degree holder (Finance, Accounting, Economics or related) with a Second Class Upper or better.
• Associate member of ACCA, ICAG or another recognised accounting body.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; French is a plus.
• Positive attitude, self‑motivated and eager to learn.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Word.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint.
