ATR General Accounting Analyst I

About the role

The ATR General Accounting Analyst I will support the finance team in delivering accurate management and financial reports for internal, external and global stakeholders. This position works in a dynamic, fast‑moving environment within the brewing and malting industry.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare management, patrimonial and result reports, as well as other required disclosures for internal, external and global clients.
• Compile monthly, quarterly, semi‑annual and annual reporting packages for entities under responsibility, covering legal balances, Brazil‑GAAP, IFRS and Cognos reporting.
• Verify and control closing processes, including general accounting, fixed‑assets accounting, intercompany accounting and LAS units consolidation.
• Register and analyze account activity, ensuring adherence to established timelines.
• Manage the payment process for foreign suppliers.
• Monitor internal‑control standards to prevent negative audit findings and ensure compliance with Global/SOX MICS.
• Collaborate with fellow analysts sharing the same scope to maximize results.
• Communicate challenges in analysis and tracking to avoid negative management points.

Required profile

• Advanced student or graduate in Public Accounting.
• 1–2 years of experience in accounting or audit roles.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Commitment to meeting deadlines and proactive initiative.
• Continuous learning mindset and effective communication skills.
• Interest in automation and AI tools.

Required skills

• Solid knowledge of local accounting standards and IFRS.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with Cognos reporting.
• Understanding of general accounting, fixed‑assets accounting, intercompany accounting and consolidation processes.
