Auto Air Conditioning Specialist

About the role

AutoShack Ghana is seeking an experienced professional to maintain and service automotive air‑conditioning and climate‑control systems. The specialist will ensure vehicle cabins remain comfortable by diagnosing, repairing, and recharging A/C units across a range of car models.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose faults in automotive air‑conditioning and climate‑control systems using specialized diagnostic equipment.
• Perform inspections, refrigerant recharges, and repairs on components such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, hoses, and seals.
• Replace damaged or worn A/C parts, including refrigerant lines and seals, ensuring proper system pressure and performance.
• Maintain accurate service records and report findings to workshop supervisors.

Required profile

• Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing automotive air‑conditioning systems.
• Ability to conduct inspections, recharges, and component replacements efficiently.
• Proactive, technically inclined, and capable of critical thinking when troubleshooting complex issues.
• Computer literate for using diagnostic software and documenting work.
