Auto Electrician – Vehicle Electrical Systems

About the role

The company is seeking a skilled Auto Electrician to join its maintenance team in the Accra & Tema region. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining electrical systems on a variety of vehicles, from cars and trucks to heavy equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults in vehicles using multimeters and diagnostic tools.
• Install, repair and maintain wiring, lighting, ignition, starter, alternator, horn and other electronic systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all vehicle electrical components.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
• Test, replace and document defective parts such as batteries, starters, alternators and switches.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used and technical advice provided to mechanics and operators.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years hands‑on experience as an Auto‑Electrician in a maintenance or repair workshop.
• HND or Diploma in Auto Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Maximum age of 35 years.
• Preferably residing in Sege, Dawa, Tsopoli, Tema or Ashaiman.

• Gross monthly salary between 3,500 GHS and 4,000 GHS.
