Blow Moulding Machine Mechanical Technician

About the role

The Blow Moulding Machine Mechanical Technician will work on‑site in Accra, ensuring the reliable operation of blow moulding equipment used to produce bottles and containers for household products. This full‑time position focuses on mechanical setup, adjustments, and continuous improvement of machine performance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on blow moulding machines.
• Diagnose mechanical faults, replace worn parts, and carry out repairs to minimise downtime.
• Calibrate equipment and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Monitor machine performance and collaborate with production and quality teams to optimise efficiency.
• Support safe working practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance or a related field (preferred).
• Hands‑on experience with blow moulding or similar manufacturing machinery.
• Experience in plastics manufacturing, packaging or FMCG environments is an advantage.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and follow standard operating and safety procedures.
• Willingness to work shifts, respond to urgent maintenance needs and work collaboratively.
