Business Development Lead

About the role

The Business Development Lead will work part‑time in a hybrid setting from Accra, helping the agency identify and secure new client opportunities. You will act as the bridge between market prospects and the creative teams, ensuring proposals align with client needs and agency capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research to uncover trends and potential business opportunities.
• Generate qualified leads and nurture prospects through outreach and follow‑up.
• Prepare and deliver compelling client pitches and presentations.
• Collaborate with branding and marketing teams to tailor proposals.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and track performance metrics.
• Develop sales collateral and provide regular reports and insights to leadership.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and market‑research abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Proven experience in lead generation, business development, sales or account management, preferably within an agency environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively in a part‑time schedule, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
