About the role

Café Chavela is looking for a full‑time, on‑site Supervisor to lead daily operations at its Accra location. The role involves managing the floor, coordinating staff schedules, and ensuring consistent service standards while providing a welcoming environment for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily café operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Manage the floor and coordinate staff schedules to cover busy shifts.
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed.
• Handle cash transactions and operate the point‑of‑sale system accurately.
• Address guest inquiries or concerns and maintain high service standards.
• Communicate operational needs and updates to management.

Required profile

• Experience supervising or leading teams in hospitality, retail, or a similar customer‑facing environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with diverse guests and team members.
• Organizational and time‑management abilities to prioritize tasks during busy shifts.
• Dependable, proactive, and comfortable making decisions and solving problems.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Required skills

• Basic cash‑handling and point‑of‑sale system operation.
