About the role

You will often be the first and last person a guest interacts with at The ChopYard. The role combines accurate order taking and payment handling with clear communication, a welcoming attitude, and careful coordination between customers, delivery riders, and the kitchen.

Key responsibilities

  • Welcome guests, take precise orders, and communicate them clearly to the kitchen.
  • Process cash and mobile‑money payments with accurate records and proper handover.
  • Handle customer questions, order changes, and handoffs with warmth and speed.
  • Keep the counter, ordering tools, menus, and customer area organised.
  • Support order tracking, delivery handovers, and end‑of‑shift reconciliation.

Required profile

  • Minimum BECE certificate; WASSCE, TVET, or customer‑service training is an advantage.
  • Strong numeracy, clear communication, and confidence handling cash and mobile‑money payments.
  • Experience in retail, hospitality, food service, or customer support is an advantage.
  • Certificates in customer service, cash handling, digital payments, food safety, or hospitality are a plus.
